Kitchen
Sense of Harleston is proud to be a member of the Kitchen
Specialists Association.
To become a member of the KSA you have to be a Kitchen
Specialist of the highest calibre. Every member has to
have been in business for a minimum of two years before
they can be considered for membership.Officers of the Association
inspect their showrooms, their working methods, previous
contracts and their financial status.
Only if a
specialist passes every stage of the inspection are they
accepted as a member of the KSA and, if their standards
drop, they can be expelled from the Association.
Once they have
been approved, the specialist has to comply with an
approved Code of Practice, which all members are required
to follow.
This includes:
+having a
permanent showroom with properly fitted displays;
+being able to
supply all the products they have on display;
+offering a
comprehensive design and installation service and taking
full legal responsibility for all the work involved in
the contract, including the fitting of units, plumbing (gas
and water) and electric's.
Every order placed
with a member is protected by KSA-Consumer Care, the
Association's unique deposit-protection scheme. If, for
any reason, a member ceases to trade prior to delivery of
a kitchen, bedroom or bathroom, the KSA will do its
utmost to ensure that the customer gets the kitchen,
bedroom or bathroom they ordered, and at the agreed price,
providing the deposit paid does not exceed 25 per cent of
the total contract value. Alternatively, at the KSA's
discretion, it will return the customers deposit in full.
